The Anglican Parochial District of Wangaratta West and The Warbys includes the western part of the City of Wangaratta and the districts of Taminick and Glenrowan in The Warby Ranges.
It was formed in 1991 and has developed to provide a friendly parish that is open to the community with a modern Catholic tradition.
The Parochial District is part of the Diocese of Wangaratta in North East Victoria.
On August 31st 2024, with the Induction and Installation of the Priest in Charge of the Parochial District as Vicar of Wangaratta Parish and Dean of Holy Trinity Cathedral, the two Wangaratta Anglican parishes entered into a Co-operating Ministry Arrangement.

5th SUNDAY COMBINED SERVICE – TRINITY SUNDAY – FEAST OF TITLE
At this stage it is hoped that we can combine with Anglican Churches within the Co-operative Ministry as well as Holy Trinity Benalla for the Feast of Title of Holy Trinity Cathedral, Holy Trinity Whitfield and Holy Trinity Benalla.
If all goes well, the Wodonga Brass Band will be in attendance,
a possible reception of someone into the Anglican Church
and a sumptuous morning High Tea
following the Service at 10.00am.
This is a call to All Anglicans to come and celebrate
our unity and belief in the Triune God
and to worship the Trinity as Creator, Redeemer & Sustainer.

St Michael’s is at the corner of O’Leary and Appin Streets in Wangaratta.
Eucharist is Celebrated each Sunday at 9.30 am at St Michael’s.
Mid-week Eucharist is currently at 10.00am on Tuesdays.
This is usually followed by a cuppa, then a Bible Study.

St Paul’s is in Church St, Glenrowan.
The present building was built in local stone in 1959 to replace an older wooden structure. It is situated behind the famous Jones’ Hotel where Ned Kelly and his Gang were captured. The new extension of a Vestry, Parish hall and Ablution facilities were dedicated on 26 June 2016.
Services are held each Sunday at 11.00 am.
Ante Communion (the first half of the HC Service)
is used on the 1st and 3rd Sunday.
Eucharist is Celebrated on the 2nd and 4th Sunday.

St George’s is in Upper Taminick Road, Taminick. It was Licensed as a Place of Worship on 14th March 1915.
Eucharist is Celebrated at 8.00am on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of most months

Our Parish Priest
Our Priest in Charge is The Very Reverend Neil Hicks.
Father Neil came to the Parish in July 2022.
In August 2024 Neil also became the Vicar of Holy Trinity Parish and Dean of Holy Trinity Cathedral.
At the end of April 2026, Neil began Long Service Leave leading up to his retirement on 31st August 2026.
